I was introduced to the labyrinth in 2004 when I received a strong “intuition” to build an outdoor labyrinth. My income was sparse at the time and I was praying for help. Internet searches brought me to Sig Lonegren/Mid-Atlantic Geomancy. I had no idea what a labyrinth was but was determined to follow through with the guidance I received.
Connects left and right brain/imagination and thinking mind
Circulates vital energies within the convolutions of the brain and intestines
Brings all parts of our being into wholeness
Allows experience of inner world, e.g. a journey into the center of our own being
Deeper compassion
Less judgements
Increased patience
Discover purpose and share it with the world
Diogenes
labyrinth walk
like the path of life
the ground is uneven
plants or rocks may appear
making the path difficult to see
you may feel like you’re going in circles
or think you’ve reached the end
but it keeps on going
you begin to enjoy the journey
appreciating the mystery
and the decorations
that help define your path
you engage in what there is
not caring how much is left
then the answer is clear
